Even though INEC announced few days ago that any presidential candidate who spend over N1b on campaign will be jailed, ThisDayNewspaper reports that former Head of State and one of the presidential aspirants seeking the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), GeneralMuhammadu Buhari has flagged- off an initiative to pull campaign fund from amongst his supporters in the country which will help him raise at least N7b.
The aim of the initiative is to raise about N7 billion from an estimated 70 million party supporters and admirers who will be expected to contribute a minimum of N100 each.
