Wikipedia updates Orubebe’s profile over attempted poll disruption
Godsday Orubebe’s profile on Wikipedia just got updated that he attempted to disrupt 2015 general election result announcement on March 31.
Orubebe, the agent of the Peoples Democratic Party at the announcement of the presidential election in Abuja, had called for the stoppage of the presentation of the results on Tuesday.
Shouting on top of his voice, Orubebe, a former Minister of the Niger Delta Affairs, alleged that INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, had taken side with the All Progressives Congress.
At the venue of the results presentation on Tuesday, the PDP agent shouted, “You sent a committee to Rivers to probe what happened there. We submitted petitions to you about Kano, Jigawa, Katsina but you have not done anything about our complaints. You cannot continue with these results; we will not take it.”
As Jega tried to calm him down, asking to be given a chance to respond, Orubebe shouted, “Mr. Jega, You cannot continue, go to your office. You are partial. We don’t have any confidence in you. We will not allow this. You cannot continue. You must stop the results.”

Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao says he “has faith” that he could stay with the club next season
The Colomba international has not yet ruled out prolonging his Old Trafford career but has once again vowed to consider his options at the end of the season
Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao says he “has faith” that he could stay with the club next season despite largely disappointing following his big-money loan move from Monaco.
The Colombia international has managed just four goals in 19 games for Louis van Gaal’s side this season and has started only once in the Premier League since the visit of Burnley on February 11.
However, the 29-year-old has been on form for his country in the last five days, scoring three times in two games, against Bahrain and Kuwait, to equal Colombia’s all-time goalscoring record with 24 goals.
After netting a penalty in the 3-1 win over Kuwait, Falcao was asked if he expected to stay at Manchester United and replied: “I have faith about that and when the season finishes I am going to sit down and think about my future and what is the best for my career.”
Falcao’s last Manchester United goal came against Leicester back in January but the striker says he will return to Old Trafford boosted by his strikes for his country.
“I think when I score it's always important and that gives me confidence,” he added.
“I said before I need minutes, I need to play games in a row and here in the national team I have had the opportunity. I gave my best and I scored and I now return to Manchester with more confidence.
“We have the last eight games, I will give my best to have the chance to play as many minutes as possible.
“I have said before I need to play, I need minutes and I am confident about me, about my fitness. I am confident.”

OnePlus to launch the new DR-1 drone next month
Carl Pei shared an exclusive information with us about introducing a new product in April, at the Mobile World Congress 2015. Pei clarified that it will not be a smartwatch or tablet and we estimated it would be a totally different category.
The latest teaser showing a product covered with red cloth made use think if it was RC version of Batman’s Tumbler. In the latest Reddit AMA, OnePlus made it official that the company will introduce a drone named DR-1 and will start selling next month. Three months ago, OnePlus did tease the drone on its official Instagram account.
While drones have become a new trend among enthusiasts, the cost of one is what is keeping it to be accessible to many. That is where OnePlus plans to make it available to many at an affordable price.

WhatsApp for iOS to get voice calling feature in a matter of weeks, co-founder says
Less than a couple of weeks after there were reports of the voice calling feature being tested on WhatsApp for iPhone, co-founder Brian Acton has revealed that the feature will be made available to iOS users soon.
Although Acton, who made the revelation at Facebook’s F8 developer conference yesterday, first said that the feature would roll out in a couple of weeks, he later backtracked from the statement, saying that it will take “several weeks”.
The news comes nearly a couple of months after WhatsApp started rolling out the voice calling feature for Android users. Until now, the roll out has been slow primarily because in order to get the feature activated on your device you need to be called by someone who already has it.

Microsoft rolling out Skype for Web beta invites to some users
If you have been using WhatsApp for Web lately, then you would know how convenient it is to access the messages, send voice notes and more via web interface. That freedom is being missed by the loyal Skype users but Microsoft plans to fix that soon.
Microsoft has started pushing a new ‘Skype for Web’ beta invites to select users. Skype for Web will let you chat as well as perform video and voice calls using the web browser.
The web client will make it easier to use Skype from anywhere through a decent internet connection. Currently being tested in private beta, Skype for Web may take a while to roll out for public. Probably with or after the arrival of Windows 10.

YouTube now lets you watch 4K videos at 60fps
YouTube has enabled playback of 4K videos at 60 frames per second. For the time being, the feature is available on just six videos, which are hand picked by YouTube staff.
Mind you, to take full pleasure of the quality and smoothness of the video, you’ll have to sport a pretty capable machine and a 4K monitor to go with it. Also, currently the option to play 4K @ 60fps works only on Chrome.
In case you tick all of the checkboxes, here’s the playlist of six videos.
The company hasn’t specified a timeframe for a broader launch of the feature just yet.

A free wireless charger with a preorder of Galaxy S6 and S6 edge from BestBuy
As most of our US reader are surely aware, the eagerly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are finally up for preorder today. The devices can be picked-up from a wide variety of vendors, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon, which carry both devices, as well as Boost, Cricket and MetroPSC, which only have the basic S6 model.
As it turns of, BestBuy is also offering preorders for both smartphones and to make the deal even sweeter, it will throw in a free wireless charger with the purchase. There is one condition, though – preorders must be made between today and April 11 to be eligible for the gift.
This is only natural, though, considering that most vendors will start shipping units around that time, so, technically, it is not really a preorder after that.
The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are the first two smartphones with a 14nm chipset, Samsung’s Exynos 7420. Both are running a Samsung-customized version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. They both have 3GB of RAM and come with a 5.1-inch, 1440 x 2560 pixel, Super AMOLED display, curved on both sides in the edge model. The camera setup is also quite impressive with a 16 MP, 2988 x 5312 pixels, OIS enabled shooter on the back and a 5MP front-facing one.
One of the drawbacks of Samsung’s new glass back design for the flagships is that they no longer have a removable battery, which is definitely a downgrade for the Galaxy line. In an attempt to compensate, the Korean tech giant has thrown in a lot of battery-centric technologies in the mix, like fast charging and wireless charging. To make thing even better, Samsung has opted to support both leading charging technologies – PMA and Qi. This will allow an impressive amount of flexibility, with the idea being, that S6 users can easily take advantage of all the existing and, fast-growing number of public charging facilities, at places like Starbucks and McDonalds.
Wireless charging might not be the most effective technology out there, but its popularity is growing fast. Even IKEA has started adopting the trend, with a dedicated line of furniture, complete with charging units, so it is good to see that Samsung has gone to great lengths to future-proof its latest tech.
