The 20-year-old, a product of the Giallorossi academy, signed a new four-year contract with Roma in May 2014 but now looks set to switch allegiances to Milan, who have announced he is attending a medical in the northern city on Tuesday.
He told Milan's official Twitter account: "I want to give the first team a boost and I will be looking to do my best here."
