She has a
new name, a new husband, a new album and a new place as returning judge
on The X Factor, but Wednesday evening was all about the new fragrance
as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini attended its exclusive launch party in
central London.
The
31-year-old singer looked stunning in a rather apt bridal inspired
evening gown as she swept into upmarket restaurant Avenue in St. James’s
Street, close to the city’s Green Park.
Cheryl
– who stunned fans by marrying French restaurateur Jean-Bernard after a
whirlwind romance – revealed her nicely toned legs thanks to a generous
thigh-length slash, while lace embellishments afforded the gown a
decorative flourish.

Scent-sational: Cheryl Fernandez-Versini looks stunning as she poses for photos on Wednesday evening
The
Geordie star matched it with a pair of stylish nude heels as she
momentarily paused outside the venue before making her way inside.
Speaking of her new venture, Cheryl admitted she'd harboured a desire to develop her own fragrance since she was a child.
'A
fragrance is something I always wanted to do when I had time to get
involved. I finally felt I had the time to really get stuck into it
now,' she said.
Here she comes! Cheryl arrives at Avenue in central London as she prepares to launch her debut fragrance, StormFlower
Looking good: The singer poses for photos before
making her way inside, where she admitted it was 'every girl's dream'
to create their own fragrance
Hard to miss: It's been an eventful year for
Cheryl, and it continued on Wednesday evening with the official launch

Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini
Go floaty and gorgeous in a gown like Cheryl's
She shocked us all by wearing black to her
only wedding party over here in the UK - although the Ralph & Russo
couture gown was rather amazing - and Cheryl Cole might be giving us all
a glimpse at what her actual wedding dress looked like here.
This is how to launch a fragrance! Cheryl's dress is absolutely gorgeous. There's lots going on, but it looks super pretty and feminine on her. One shoulder, draping, pleats, a thigh-high split, lace and embellishment.
We love how the middle band cinches Cheryl in... she hasn't got the most curvy body in the world, so a waist band like this gives her lots of shape.
Cheryl matches the colour of her shoes to the colour of the gown, nude. It's a great styling trick that helps to elongate the legs. Our only negative about this dress is the length... it's a tad too long, and after only walking a few steps outside the bottom would be completely ruined.
But other than that, we love it Cheryl! Another sartorial triumph!

to just put my name to a fragrance.
