LG is definitely no stranger to flashy commercials and visually impressive promos and the Korean giant seems to be going all out for the LG G Flex 2 – the latest addition to its device lineup. The recently released video is somewhat of an extended version of the clip show at CES 2015 when the smartphone was announced.
The minute and a half promo is nothing short of spectacular. Visuals are gorgeous and it is full to the brim with impressive renderings of the device and dramatic animations. The emphasis is on the interesting features that the LG G Flex 2 brings to the table.
The signature curved display is center-stage, of course and LG did not miss to emphasize the new level of convenience it brings. An equal share of attention was also given to the device’s impressive self-healing back plate, the OIS-enabled camera, the beastly Snapdragon 810 SoC as well as immense multitasking capabilities, aided by the new Optimus UI on top of Android 5.0.
Granted the clip seems a little bit over the top at times, reminding the user that digitally stabilized photos of crystal particles is a “dramatization” and insisting that putting a curve on a 5.5-inch display makes for an incredible immersive experience. We’ll have to wait to obtain a review unit before we can pass judgement on that.
