Although it
appears she has it all, Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that her
crippling self-esteem issues made her think she wasn't worthy of her
success.
The
36-year-old may seem the picture of confidence, with her prosperous
career, seemingly endless litany of skills and happy relationship with
boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, but she has now opened about struggling for
years with personal issues regarding her appearance.
Speaking to The Evening Standard, she said: 'I wasn't enough, that I wasn't pretty, that I was fat, and that I wasn't worthy of more.'

in London on Tuesday, claims she didn't think she was worthy of her
success
Her
heartbreaking revelation comes as she prepares to release her new album
Big Fat Lie, which she credits with helping her to overcome her
self-esteem woes.
'It's a very personal album to me. It's a transitional album, and it's very honest and authentic,' she admitted.
'I'm
addressing some issues and things I've battled with in my life in the
album and hopefully people can feel like they can relate to it.'
The
stunning star's admission about her therapeutic new album comes after
she bravely opened up about her eight-year battle with bulimia.
Nicole
had previously revealed her affecting relationship with the eating
disorder back in 2012, shortly after becoming an X Factor judge.
Natural beauty: Nicole, seen on The X
Factor in 2013, struggled with her body image for years, and previously
revealed that she battled with an eating disorder
She
told VH1 at the time: 'I never spoke about it, I never want to play a
victim and I never wanted my family to hear about things from me because
I think it would break their heart.
'I guess it was like my addiction. I never did drugs, but kinda doing things to myself was my addiction.'
The
stunning brunette has been busy promoting her upcoming album Big Fat
Lie, her second solo record since splitting from The Pussycat Dolls in
2011.
As
well as her flourishing career as a singer, which kicked off in 2005
when she joined as the lead member of the Don't Cha hit making dance
troupe, the American superstar has also seen success in many other
avenues.
Relatable: The former Pussycat Dolls
star hopes that the songs on her new album will help others work through
their own similar issues

Following
a triumphant two-year stint as a judge on The X Factor, the gorgeous
star has also been at the helm of a popular range of clothes for online
retailer Missguided, and is the face of brands such as Herbal Essences
and Muller yoghurt.
And,
although she has been battling with her body-image demons for years,
Nicole has always managed to get the job done when acting as a
spokesperson and model, looking stunning in every campaign.
She
will soon add another string to her bow as she takes to the stage as
Grizabella in the theatre revival of hit musical Cats in December.
At a promo gig for her 'cathartic' new album, she said: 'It feels good to be truthful because not everyone's perfect.
'Everyone
always has these pre-conceived notions — that you're glamorous, you
don't have any problems, you don't have any issues, and we all battle
with our own issues.'

London-based GQ Awards in September, says her new album Big Fat Lie has
helped her to work through her issues
