Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were spotted slumbering in their seats as they flew economy class to Armenia

But even the rich and famous need to save a little cash at times, and it transpires Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did just that by flying economy to Armenia earlier this month.

The superstars were spotted slumbering in their cramped and uncomfortable seats, a far cry from the usual champagne reception and VIP treatment they're accustomed to in first class.

A photo is doing the rounds on Twitter, showing the duo trying to catch some snooze in amongst the other passengers in cattle class.

'dying Kim & Kanye flew Economy to Armenia (sic)', Miles Newlove captioned the image as he uploaded it to the social media site.

Kim appears to have mastered the art of airplane sleeping and is seen curled up on her seat with her coat covering her like a blanket.
