OAU, FUTO and UNILORIN Teams shortlisted for CIMA Global Business Challenge 2015

It is the result 95 teams from 17 institutions of higher learning have been waiting for. After much anticipation, CIMA, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, has announced the Nigerian shortlist for the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2015, its international business competition for university undergraduates, organised globally in partnership with Barclays.


Congratulations to the finalists:

·         Dream Team from University of Ilorin, Ilorin
·         Team Galatic from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife
·         N-Ergy from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife
·         FUTOITES Business Team from Federal University of Technology Owerri.

The teams will compete in a national final on Saturday, 6 June 2015, which holds at the International Centre for Arbitration and ADR located on 1a Remi Olowude Street, Lekki Peninsular Phase 1, in Lagos.

The winning team will be flown by CIMA toWarsaw in Poland for the global final along with each winning team from Australia, Bangladesh, Mainland China, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, the Middle East, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Zambia.

Admission to the CIMA Global Business Challenge Nigerian final is free for undergraduates. Competing teams are enjoined to invite friends and family members to attend to cheer them to success. The CIMA Global Business Challenge is a business competition for undergraduates around the world, designed to showcase talent in business management and identify young business leaders of the future. Competing teams are asked to put their business skills to the test by analysing and solving a real-life corporate case study.
