Breaking News: Madrid president Florentino Perez agrees Ramos sale to Manchester United

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has finally given in to Sergio Ramos’ demands of joining Manchester United, according to reports in Spain.
Radio Marca journalist Pablo Garcia Cuervo, quoted by todomercadoweb.es, claims Perez wanted Iker Casillas – who joined Porto earlier this month -  out of the club and is now ready to let Ramos follow suit.
Ramos and Perez reportedly fell out over the defender’s unacceptable contract terms and the Spanish international was thought to have instructed the European champions to negotiate a move to Old Trafford.
Garcia goes on to suggest the deal might drag on as Perez wants to portray Ramos in a negative light – staining his perception among Real fans because of their disagreement over a new contract.
“Sergio has made his mind up," Garcia said. "Florentino also wants Sergio to leave, but Real Madrid want it to seem like Sergio is the one who wants to leave because he isn’t very ‘madridista’."
“If Florentino Perez wanted to keep Casillas, he hid it very well. The same is happening with Ramos.”
Manchester United have further piled on the pressure by asking the player to hand in a transfer request.
Louis van Gaal’s side are willing to make him one of their highest paid players and want him to lead them back to the top.
