Real Madrid have rejected a bid from Arsenal for Karim Benzema

Arsenalhave seen a big-money bid for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema rejected, according to the Daily Express.

Real were initially open to selling the striker but it would seem as though they have changed their stance and want to keep the France international at the Bernabeu.
Arsene Wenger has been looking to strengthen his striking options, as the Gunners look to mount a sustained title challenge this season, but it would appear that Benzema is no longer feasible.
Arsenal have also been linked with Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain and Man City forward Edin Dzeko this summer.
